APAN P2P Working Group is focused on the followings.
- help in understanding implications and challenges of emerging peer-to-peer technologies and applications on research and education communities
- explore, experiement and take advantage of peer-to-peer technologies to enable/support advanced applications on high-performance research/education networks. Major Activities include:

- Bi-annual Joint Sessions/Workshops and WG Meetings during APAN Meetings. (potentially with Network Storage & Content Distribution WG or Grid WG)
- Issue a Technical Memo (once or twice a year) - More to Come (Project?)
 
Milestones/Actions:
- 2003.2.28 : APAN P2P Resource Archive Setup (always under construction/revision)
- Afterwards: to be discussed later
