Country update KR 3 organizations are connected to KAIST ETRI connects 5-10 organizations w/ tunnels using sTLA space Korea IPv6 gateway will be moved to KTnoc/Seoul-XP using a single router for dual stack operation SG Translator service will be started for IPv6 users MY MSCNTT connected to Tokyo via 192kbps; NTT R&D primary soon to be establish a bgp session with WIDE/Tokyo Address: NTT /48 address, WIDE may offer /41 to MY IPv6 group MY IPv6 group may apply pTLA space to Bob Fink AS number is being applied to APNIC for routing 2. WG charter review "The purpose of the IPv6 WG is that to promote IPv6 and related technologies and activities in and around APAN" 3. Other discussion items - Choi proposed to provide IPv6 connectivity to APRICOT2000 venue; He will contact with Taeha, who is arranging the environment. Kato presented that Steeve Deering will give a half-day tutorial on Feb 29th, and a SIG session by APNIC for IPv6 will be held in March 1st. - Lee proposed to operate Web proxies to help IPv6 users; e.g. Singapore Web proxies can access IPv4 Singaporian web contents through the proxy using IPv6. Kato will try to restart a Japanese web proxy for IPv6 users. - Lee also proposed to circulate the log/report for various IPv6 related activities, such as TAHI interoperability test performed in Oct 1999. (TAHI can be accessable through www.tahi.org) Lee also focuses to hold seminars when IPv6 experts are available.
