1. Attendance
   
   • Prof. Joo, Scott, Kitamura San, Prof. Goto, Pipot, Tsering.
     
   • Prof. Goto could join the meeting mid way.
2. Review of the issues discussed in Taipei meeting in august 2005
   
   • Scott informed that the main conference hall for the Tokyo meeting was large enough to accommodate two parallel sessions.
     
   • Prof. Joo informed that there might be more number of participants compared with earlier meetings who might remain until the closing plenary  session   for the Tokyo meeting but suggested Scott to discuss with Konishi-san and other APAN-JP members to confirm it.
     
   • The local organizing committee was asked to send information on visa procedures and others to APAN secretariat when ready to be uploaded on the website.
     
   • The local organizing committee is concerned about the length of time it might take for the visa procedures. Therefore, it recommended starting working on it as soon as possible.
     
   • Scott will send information on transportation, costs etc. for the fellows to An Jie and the fellowship program committee. He also wants to check with them when they were going to start the selection process, as most of the fellows would need visa to arrive Japan.
     
   • The local organizing committee is planning to use their own system for the online registration and they expect this to be operational by early November.
     
   • Regarding Sponsorship, the local organizing committee is actively seeking more sponsors and it will update APAN secretariat as and when new information is available to be uploaded on the website.
     
3. Opening Plenary Speakers
   
   • Scott would discuss with other members of the local organizing committee in their upcoming local meeting and inform APAN secretariat about the speakers.
     
4. Other issues
   
   • The local organizing committee plans to equip all the rooms with polycom facility.
5. Next meeting
   
   • The next meeting would be held on October 28, 2005 from 9:00-10:00 am BKK time (+ 7:00 GMT)
