| Objective |
A high speed network with huge capacity is a necessary requirement to
promote joint researches for applications such as high energy physics,
earth monitoring, bioinformatics, agriculture and forestry fisheries,
telemedicine and so on. Researchers developing these applications
should know the latest technical information and knowledge in order to
maximize the use of the infrastructure available. As well, researchers
in the network technology field will benefit from learning how the
network is used for practical applications. This could lead to a more
focused development of efficient and reliable network. It is most
participants in the APAN meeting want to see more interactions between
the application people and the network technology people. |
