IPv6 training session outline:
1. Date: Monday, Aug.4, 2008
2. Place: Millennium Hotel Queenstown, Queenstown, New Zealand.
3. Instructor: Dr.WANG Jilong, MA Yan 
Volunteers as training assistant are welcome
4. The prerequisite for attendees:
1) laptop computer with MS-Windows/Linux/Mac with wired/wireless network card
2) basic knowledge of operating system
3) basic knowledge of networking
5. The attendees will learn:
1) IPv6 worldwide deployment status and trend
2) Basic knowledge
1) identify IPv6 address type
2) configure IPv6 address on your laptop computer
3) connectivity checking and basic trouble shooting skill
4) tunnel configuration and connectivity checking
5) IPv6 application introduction
6) access IPv6 resources
3) More advanced configuration
1) Introduction to Dragon Lab training facility
2) IPv6 routing basics and router configuration experiment
3) basic FTP and Web server configuration

Room setup: Class Room Shape

1) class room for 30 attendees
2) power outlet for each attendee of the training session
3) global IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity with wireless and wired access in the class room
4) If possible, 5~10 Desktop computers are expected |
