2. Approval of Proposed Meeting Agenda – approved with modification (APAN30 presentation before APAN26)

3. Report by the 26th APAN Meeting Host – report by Julie Watson/REANNZ

• Event name, participants' statistics, summary of event including problems encountered and recommendations (if any), venue report, report from committees, financial report (income and expenses)

• total 330 participants – 150 local delegates, 180 foreign delegates

• very positive comments received, feedback form provided to participants

• final event report to be provided before end-August 2008, including financial report

• preliminary financial report – NZD300,000 approximate total expenses, NZD200,000 from sponsors, NZD100,000 from registration fees

4. Final presentation for next APAN member meeting
- 27th APAN meeting (March 2-6, 2009) - Kaohsiung, Taiwan hosted by NCHC

5. Follow up report

- 28th APAN meeting (July 20-24, 2009) - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia hosted by APAN-MY, NAV6, UPM, MYREN
- 29th APAN meeting (February 1-5, 2010) - Sydney, Australia hosted by AARNET
- 30th APAN meeting (August 2010 - 1^st or 2^nd week) - Hanoi, Vietnam hosted by NACESTI
- 31st APAN meeting (February 21-25, 2011) – Hong Kong (for further discussion with APIA/APRICOT)

6. Other matters

- Expression of Intent to Host Future APAN Meetings

• 33^rd APAN meeting (1/2012) – Hawaii, USA (proposal to be submitted by David Lassener/University of Hawaii)

- Review of Event Committee Documents (Committee Principles and Procedures, Hosting Application Form, Selection Process, Site Survey, Post-Event Evaluation)

• reminder to APAN meeting hosts about giving 20% of surplus of meeting proceeds to APAN secretariat

• Event Committee documents shall be reviewed and updated by next APAN meeting

- Election of Event Committee Vice-Chair

• Akira Mizushima/JP as Vice-Chair of Event Committee – nominated by Denis, seconded by Professor Fan and proposal carried by committee members.

- Taiwan to propose Event Committee member
