| Objectives | AI3 / SOI Asia plans to create IPv6 multicast on terrestrial wireless network to expand the network from satellite links. The terrestrial wireless networks may be : municipal wifi networks, DVB-T, WiMAX, etc. In this BoF, speakers are asked to present : 1. Country situations on terrestrial wireless, e.g. national strategy, license situations, technology. 2.Possible solutions : technology, practicability, etc. 3. Test-deployment site candidates, including the possible partner organizations ( if any ). This BoF will also brainstorm / discuss the possible technologies, what kind of engineering we have to do for the technology, and how it would cooperate / function with APAN. |
