Thanks to Kitamura-san for liaising
between the committees.
Difficult condensing meeting
269 total participation.
Many registrations were
cancelled due to higher hotel room price.
Astronomy BoF was not advertised
on the program and was not allocated a room. More people would have attended if
it was more prominent on the agenda.
DY Kim suggested that we could have two tracks:
working groups and a more general interest session in

4. Review of proposals submitted
(a) Revised final submission date 15-Feb-2008.
(b) Council meeting will occur before general assembly
(on Thursday).
(c) One possible plenary on Wednesday
(d) Closing plenary Friday (before general assembly)

Updating Program Committee Members
Pujan will solicit program committee to determine
who will be continuing.
6. Other business
Li-Chi (TW) would like to combine APAN with HPC Asia
2008.
Joint plenary on Wednesday maybe a joint opening
plenary.
George McLaughlin wondered about the advantage of co
location.
