| Objective |
To explore how data collected from space, land and ocean can be used to provide timely warning of natural disasters and extreme weather conditions and to support the development of response and mitigation strategies to mitigate impact and minimize damage, injury and loss of life. The extensive and ever increasing global collaborations in these area will also be covered. |

Those with interest in Disaster Management, Extreme Weather Predicition, Earth and Ocean Monitoring and Observing, Climate Change, eScience and Global Collaboration as well as those involved in infrastructure provision to support these activities. |

- Center of Excellence in Disaster Management & Humanitarian Assistance (COE-DM/HA) - Role of ITC in disaster response and humanitarian assistance
