 o. Roll call

         introduce respectively.

1. Conference Venue and accommodations

    Venue :   East West Center  (www.eastwestcenter.org)

    Accommodations :  secured some hotels and dormitory.

      40 Lincoln Hall studios

       6 Lincoln Hall kitchens

     10 Hale Manoa/Hale Kuahine double rooms

          (wait listed for 5 additional rooms)

    We had better make expected fellowship no.

    somebody who only register I2 can join in thursday APAN Dinner.

     Pre-reserve for APAN Dinner: put I2 Jt Workshop registration form.

2. Technical support.

     I2 asked *****  polycom

     Highband demonstration support is needed.

     from AU to USA.. something like this.

3. Jt Tech Workshop website in Internet 2  is not operated yet.    

4. registration fee

     I2 has only $200 registration fee. there is no students fee

     APAN registration : $200 (general), $100 (student, youth)

     if register both, discount $400 -> $300

     late registration fee : over $50

     by when ?

     I2 has no late registration.

     need to discuss   

5. Visa problem

    need some certificated documents for pariticipants from CN, MY and

    other asian countries.

    if anybody have some idea, please issue.  very tough problem.

    two stage

    1. get visa stamp

    2. honolulu airport : need hawaii' contact point telephone

    government letter is more useful.

    USA wil send some information to each embassy for help.

    Primary contact point : David Lassener

    CN, MY and another country  has to sent candidate name list to David.

    we need pre-screen.

6. Fellow

    target is 30 fellows.

    will devide two stage.

    first stage : 30 fellows

    second stage : 10 waiting list

7. Program

    program committee member

      1 from CN (Ma Yan)

      1 from KR (Joo, Bokgyu)

    when do we expect whole program?

    when can we expect workshop description?

    I2 will finishi wednesday noon (2004.1.28)

    APAN plenary will be held wednesday afternoon. (?)

    Does it make sense held 'Joint Plenary' at wednesday morning

        Keynote speech.

        topic : hawaii university will pick up.   ->   agreed.

    APAN Meeting will be held from Wednesday morning.

    There is possibility that some APAN Committee/WG meeting will be   held in tuesday.

    we need  workshop list.

    which workshops will be held?   

    chair expect the list will be done by this friday.
