Dr. Dongkyun Kim [mirr@kisti.re.kr] Dr. Dongkyun Kim has been
working for domestic and international research networking in Korea since 2000.
He is a PI of GLORIAD-KR project and an active member of GLIF now. Regarding
Future Internet, he is a member of Future Internet Forum in Korea and AsiaFI,
serving as a co-PI of K-GENI project based on GENI activity in the US. James Williams [williams@indiana.edu] James Williams is the
Director of International Networking at Indiana University and the Principal
Investigator for multiple NSF projects in Asia and South Asia. He is the co-PI, with Dongkyun Kim of the
K-GENI Project. He is also co-chair of
the GENI Operations and Integration Working Group. Dae Young Kim Dae Young KIM is a professor of Chungnam University, Corea,
and is also currently a visiting professor at Kyoto University, Japan, for a
year. He is vice chair of APAN, the
Corea Future Internet Forum(FIF), the Asia Future Internet Forum(AsiaFI), and
chair of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC6. His current
research interest is Future Internet testbeds as well as its architecture. Shinji
Shomojo Shinji
Shimojo received the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Osaka University in
1983 and 1986, respectively. He was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Information and Computer
Sciences, Faculty of Engineering Science at
Osaka University from 1986, and an Associate Professor with Computation Center from 1991 to 1998.
During this period, he also worked for a
year as a Visiting Researcher at the University of California, Irvine. He has been a Professor with the
Cybermedia Center (then the Computation
Center) at Osaka University since 1998, and from 2005 to 2008 had been the director of the Center. He is
an executive researcher at National
Institute of Information and Communications Technology and a director of JGN2plus which is
one of national testbed network. His
current research work is focusing on a wide
variety of multimedia applications,
peer-to-peer communication networks, ubiquitous network systems, and Grid technologies. He was awarded the Osaka
Science Prize in 2005. He is a member of
IEEE and IEICE. Dr. JongWon Kim Dr.
JongWon Kim currently works as a Professor at the Department of Information
& Communications (DIC), Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology
(GIST), Gwangju, Korea. Under the slogan of Dynamic composition of immersive
media-oriented services over the wired/wireless IP convergence networks, he is
focusing on networked media systems and services. He is participating in a
Korean Future Internet testbed project called FIRST. He also has been serving
as the APAN HDTV WG chair since 2004.
HIDEyuki Shimonishi is the Principal
Researcher at System Platforms Research Labs, NEC Corp Japan. His research team
is working on Future Internet related activities including, OpenFlow switch,
network OS, QoS and traffic control, routing and traffic engineering, network
monitoring, and mobile networks. Dr. Jun Bi Dr. Jun Bi is a Full
Professor and Director of Network Architecture & IPv6 Research Division,
Network Research Center of Tsinghua University.
His research interests include Internet architecture and protocols,
Source address validation, Internet routing, etc. He had successful led tens of
research projects, published more than 70 research papers, owned tens of
innovation patents, received the national science and technology advancement
prizes, and supported by program of Ministry of Education of China for New
Century Excellent Talents in University. He serves as chairs or members of
technical program committee of many international academic conferences. He is
Senior Member of ACM, Senior Member of China Computer Federation, Senior Member
of China Institute of Communications, Secretariat Director and Steering Group
Member of Asia Future Internet Forum (AsiaFI). Katsushi Kobayashi Katsushi Kobayashi
received his B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in Science, University of
Electro-Communications (UEC), Tokyo,Japan in 1987, 1989, and 1993,
respectively. He was a research associate with Computer Center, UEC during
1993-1998. He joined the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology
(NICT formerly named CRL), Japan in 1998-2006. He joined Grid Technology
Research Center in Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan. He
is a member of IEEE and ACM. Dr Kiyohide Nakauchi Dr Kiyohide Nakauchi is a
senior researcher in National Institute of Information and Communications
Technology (NICT). His current research interests include overlay
networks, peer-to-peer Doug Pearson Doug Pearson is the director of the
Research and Education Networking - Information Sharing and Analysis Center
(REN-ISAC) at Indiana University. The REN-ISAC mission is to aid and promote
cyber security operational protection and response within the higher education
and research (R&E) communities. The mission is conducted within the context
of a private community of trusted representatives at member institutions, and
in service to the R&E community at-large. REN-ISAC serves as the R&E
trusted partner for served networks, the formal US ISAC community, and in other
commercial, governmental, and private security information sharing
relationships.
