Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is hosting the Asia-Pacific Advanced Network 37th Meeting (APAN37) which will be held at Savoy Homann Bidakara Hotel, Bandung, Indonesia from 20-24 January 2014.
The event will consists of presentations and workshops on advanced network technologies and application. There will be plenty of opportunity to interact with colleagues from Asia-Pacific advanced networking and research communities and beyond during this meeting.
Bandung has several recreational areas. Among them are tea plantations, both to the north and the south of the city, the scenery of which is indeed beautiful.
The official language in Bandung is Bahasa Indonesia. Transactions (taxis, shops, cafe/restaurants) are using Rupiah (IDR).
There are some hotel options near the venue of APAN37 for staying during the event.
Foreigners are required to have a valid visa to enter to Indonesia. There are few exemption for foreigners that do not need visa to enter Indonesia.
